  The project

WHO are English language learners with disabilities?

HOW do they learn best?

HOW can teachers most effectively support their learning?

THESE ARE THE BIG QUESTIONS THE IVARED PROJECT SEEKS TO ANSWER.

IVARED is an acronym for Improving the Validity of Assessment Results for English Language Learners with Disabilities. The IVARED Project is spearheaded by staff of National Center on Educational Outcomes.

IVARED involves a partnership with five states: Arizona, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, and Washington.
